Since 2014, La Morra has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Vineyard Landscapes of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato. The velvety hills, cobblestone streets, and irregular rooftops, arranged according to the ancient medieval layout, would be enough to make La Morra a picturesque location, guardian of timeless traditions and architectural beauties. But the town offers much more: the so-called "red gold". Indeed, all around the hills, precious vineyards are cultivated, among these the most renowned is the Nebbiolo, from which Barolo and Nebbiolo d'Alba are produced. Precious bunches that, cultivated with wisdom, love, and mastery, give rise to a wine known throughout the world. Its 18th-century bell tower, built with the remains of the castle demolished in the 16th century, stands just over 30 meters high and has a simple square structure. By reaching the famous "Belvedere", one can admire the surrounding panorama, 360° of pure beauty. In every street of the village, there are typical cellars and inns where one can taste not only the famous wine but also the exquisite local products. Hiking enthusiasts can venture along the network of 7 trails whose paths not only lead the visitor close to the great vineyards but also allow them to discover small hamlets of La Morra, votive pillars, woods, and scenic viewpoints. Just 17 minutes from Alba, 15 minutes from Barolo, 2 hours from Milan and Genoa, Rivalta di La Morra is the ideal starting point to explore and immerse oneself in the sensations that this magnificent land knows how to offer.
