Meta is divided into two areas, the upper part, called the “Mulino”, the Mill, which revolves around the Corso Italia and the lower part, called the “Casale”, the hamlet, which branches off for characteristic alleys to the beaches. You can admire from above a breathtaking view of the two bathing areas. Not only that, the water of Alimuri beach is really beautiful, characterized by an intense emerald green. The beach is divided into two parts: Marina di Alimuri and Meta Mare. The first is mostly sandy, while the other is made of small pebbles and some quays. Meta is, in fact, the only town on the peninsula to enjoy a beach with a wide sandy beach equipped with several establishments and every comfort, which is why it is chosen by tourists and locals.
