This village of 2800 inhabitants remains on the hillside of Mount Cornizzolo (1,140 m asl), in a prealpine area rich in lakes located in the heart of Upper Brianza. The Eupilian landscape scenery, together with the hill crests and the mountains, is dominated by water, which from the heights flows into the lake of Segrino and descends into the valley that goes through the town to Lake Pusiano. A scenery of rare beauty, which combines the green sweetness of the Brianza hills with the initial elevations of the Prealps. Eupilio is 16 km from Como (about 40 minutes by car) via the SP 342 and 40 km from Milan via the SS 36 that connects Milan to Valtellina and Switzerland. It is 50 km from the Milan Linate and Orio Al Serio (BG) airports. Winter sports enthusiasts can also appreciate the proximity to the famous winter sports resorts of St. Moritz (CH), Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno, which can be reached in about 2-3 hours by car.
