Livorno was founded by the De’ Medici family in 1606 and it is now the third most populated city of Tuscany. It is located on the coastline of the Ligurian Sea and it is one of the most important Italian harbors both as a commercial port and tourist port. It is known to be the most modern city of Tuscany, even though on the territory there are also many historical, architectural and artistic remains. Livorno is also named as little Venice on the Mediterranean Sea because of ancient bridges and palaces that reflect themselves in the water. Symbol of the city is the sculpture of Quattro Mori which was made on behalf of Ferdinando I de’ Medici and it represents himself with other statues made of bronze representing pirates enchained on the pedestal. In addition to the sea, Livorno is famous for its hills where is located the area of Montenero that is a district on a promontory that dominates the city and where the treasure of Madonna del Montenero is kept. It is also a place where people gather and practice their religion. From the port of Livorno you can reach nice locations such as Isola di Capraia and Sardinia. Moreover, Livorno is located 1.5 hour drive away from Firenze, 30 minutes from Pisa and one hour from Piombino, from where you can easily reach Isola d’Elba.

Commission Details
The appointment for the sale with our real estate agency and our real estate agents is formalized with a written agreement or, without any document, with the utilization of the services shown in our service brochure, in our real estate expose and relevant conditions.
