Description
The house is located in Piticchio, one of the nine castles of Arcevia, in the guard tower adjacent to the medieval entrance gate to the village. The house has two independent entrances to access the mezzanine floor where we find a study, a large living room with fireplace, kitchen, a bedroom with built-in wardrobe and a bathroom. On the upper floor there is a room, a bathroom and an attic. The property includes a lovely 44m2 cellar with vaulted ceiling and windows, connected to the apartment by an internal staircase. The poem by the writer Gabriella Lalia, Cammino di ronda, perfectly describes the place and the house: "A hundred times I have walked this circle, without ever finding it closed. Perhaps because, at every point, the horizon of hills that descends to the sea is open and the patrol path at each turn frees, first, and then raises the exiled thoughts In the house guarding the Castle the sun rises between magnolia branches and the sea, of a bell tower, makes a clear contrast. Around, fields and fallow fields against a backdrop of mountains from time and lichens".
