Roddi is a medieval municipality founded on the outskirts of Alba, it has 1585 inhabitants, the town is spread out on a hill with an open panorama over the Langa, it alternates characteristic medieval buildings with new residential areas built a few years ago. The second part of the town is located on the plain with several hamlets and villages and has a land area of about 10 square kilometres. In recent years there has been much growth in the construction of commercial complexes, in fact this area is close to the new Verduno hospital complex and the junction of the new Asti-Cuneo motorway link.
