Cerreto's best-known monument is undoubtedly the 14th-15th century “Monastero di San Giacomo”: the interior walls are covered with a series of paintings depicting the stories of Saint Giovanni and Saint Caterina and wonderful images of the Madonna and Child. Within the village we find all the main services such as pharmacy, bank, post office, bar, restaurant, grocery store and a pleasant equipped green area. About 30 minutes by car you can reach Spoleto, ducal city, as well as the fascinating Castelluccio di Norcia, Assisi, Foligno and Montefalco, city of wine and oil. The nearest airport, "S. Francesco d'Assisi," is 65 km away, the nearest train station is in Spoleto, 28 km, and the entrance to the A1 is 35 km away.
