Torchiarolo: Location and surroundings of this property

Località Lo Muccio in Torchiarolo, actually in the Municipality of Brindisi but right on the border with Lecce, is a noteworthy location for lovers of privacy immersed in nature. It is an area mostly in agricultural use but with a well-serviced beach coast overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Here, even today, it will not be difficult to find olive presses in operation. From the property you can reach the town of Torchiarolo, which is historic and full of year-round services. A town of about 5,000 inhabitants that enjoys a history dating back to the late 16th century, today a small town that throbs with religious vitality. Speaking of historical notes, the property is located near a tower,Torre Lo Muccio, formerly used for defensive purposes, dating back to the 15th century and built to defend against attacks by the Turks. Like the sea, which can also be easily reached by bike through country roads, the city of Lecce is only a 25-minute drive away and Brindisi with its regional airport is only 30 minutes away.
