In Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, in a dominant position with unobstructed views to the south, we offer a villa designed in the late 1970s by the famous architect Libero Cecchini. The elevated villa, accessed via a driveway ramp, extends over 4 floors and is surrounded by a large garden. A double garage completes the property. At the entrance, one stands in front of the impressive staircase made of red French marble, which connects the different levels of the villa and is characterised by a central, ceiling-high chandelier, which is the architect's signature for this important project. On the ground floor, in addition to the garage and ancillary rooms, there is also the study, where the owner held meetings with clients and suppliers, and a bright tavern, a room for leisure and games. The first staircase leads to the former caretaker's rooms, which can now be converted into a guest area and are both spatially and functionally independent. The panoramic glass window in the staircase leads to the bright living room, characterised by a great height with French doors, overlooking a terrace that surrounds the entire floor. In this space, the most important of the house, every element is exactly in its place and contributes to understanding the architect's desire to unite spatiality and the search for materials, a leitmotif of this project in the constant dialogue between inside and outside. On the ground floor, there is the kitchen with exit to the garden, the laundry room and a bathroom. Upstairs, the sleeping area consists of 4 bright rooms, 2 of which are double rooms facing south, 2 single rooms and 2 bathrooms. The architectural details and the choice of materials, including olive wood, stone, exposed concrete and marble of different origins, from Perle Royal to white Astir from Greece, make this villa unique, modernised to improve the quality of life of the spaces.
