Orologio Terrace

We walk along the Mercerie, the core of Venice's commercial activity since the earliest days of the Venetian Republic, when precious goods arrived in the harbour from distant markets were sold there. On both sides of the Mercerie the ground floor of all the buildings is occupied almost exclusively by shops. A few metres separate us from the beautiful and historic Clock Tower, built between 1496 and 1499 by the architect Mauro Codussi; we turn right into a street sheltered from the flow of tourists and find the entrance to the flat, where a beautiful spiral staircase stands. We go up the stairs and cross the threshold; we are greeted by an elegant hallway enriched by the Venetian terrazzo floor which leads us to the very bright living area, connected to the kitchen, and to a sunny and spacious terrace with a splendid view: our gaze touches the Clock Tower and the domes of St. Mark's Basilica. Two cosy rooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, complete the flat, which has a modern style and finish, exposed beams, fine furnishings and an open view over the rooftops. Overall, these features make the property a privileged solution for comfort and convenience, right in the heart of Venice.
