Legnano: Location and surroundings of this property

About 20 km from Milan, with its 60,000 inhabitants Legnano is the fourth most populous city in the province. It’s equipped with all services, located near A8 and A36 (Pedemontana) highways and in a strategic position for its proximity to the Milan Malpensa Airport. Thanks to an historical battle, Legnano is the only city, besides Rome, to be mentioned in the Italian national hymn. Since 1935, every year the people of Legnano remember this battle with the Palio delle contrade, traditionally held on the last Sunday of May. The largest park in Legnano is the Parco dei Mulini, which occupies an area of 500 hectares distributed in the municipalities of Legnano, Canegrate, San Vittore Olona, Parabiago and Nerviano. An important part of the park is known as Parco Castello, next to the Visconti Castle of Legnano. It stands on a natural island in the Olona River, and was owned by various noble families until 1973, when it was acquired by the Municipality. The city is rich in culture thanks to the Sutermeister Civic Museum, and the temporary exhibitions in the Castle and in Palazzo Leone da Perego, as well as its proximity to the Alfa Romeo Fratelli Cozzi Museum, part of the Design Museum in Lombardia. This lively town is part of a very important commercial district linked to the traditions of the area, with designer stores, jewelry stores and a wide range of merchandise categories, in a unique panorama in the Alto Milanese area.

Commission Details

The assignment of mediation to our agency and our real estate agents is conferred through the signing of a specific document or, in the absence of this, with the use of the services listed in our brochure, in our real estate files and related clauses.
