Lurago Marinone: Location and surroundings of this property

Lurago Marinone is a municipality in Lombardy and is located in the province of Como.
The town occupies the foothills of the Prealpine hills and is crossed by the torrent known as the Bozzente or Antiga that flows in the ancient bed of the Lura. The location of the village is splendid; healthy air, vast and dense woods full of pines, oaks and chestnuts. The wooded area of Lurago Marinone is part of the 'Parco Pineta di Appiano G. e Tradate'. It is located approximately 18 km south-west of Como and 30 km north-west of Milan. The entrance to the motorway to Milan is only a few kilometers away and the Lombard metropolis with its international airports Linate and Malpensa is about 42 minutes by car, the city of Lugano in Switzerland with its regional airport about 43 minutes by car. The lake offers water sports enthusiasts a wide range of activities, just as the hinterland is ideal for long walks, hikes, cycling and mountain-biking. For winter sports enthusiasts, special mention should be made to the proximity to the famous winter sports resorts of St. Moritz (CH), and Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno (Ital.), which can be reached in about 2.5 to 3.5 hours by car.

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) is governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
