Consumption certificateTaceno is an Italian municipality of 1,450 inhabitants in the province of Lecco in Lombardy. It is located about 60 kilometres north of Milan and about 20 kilometres north of Lecco. Taceno is located at the beginning of Val Muggiasca and is overlooked by the Cimone di Margno and Croce di Muggio mountains. It is the first municipality of the Alta Valsassina. Valsàssina is a valley in Lombardy, in the province of Lecco. Valsassina is enclosed between the Grigne group, to the west, and the Orobie Alps group, which, in a semicircle from east to north, separate it from the Bergamo valleys and Valtellina. It connects to the Lecco branch of Lake Como thanks to two passages: one to the south, which connects the valley with Lecco; the other to the north, which allows the descent to Bellano. The valley is traversed along its entire length by the Pioverna torrent, which springs from the Grigna and flows northwards, one of the few with this characteristic along the Alpine side, to flow into Lake Como at Bellano, a municipality where the torrent forms a spectacular gorge called theOrrido di Bellano.
