Arbizzano: Location and surroundings of this property

Welcome to Valpolicella: we are located in the municipality of Negrar, more precisely in Arbizzano, in a beautiful residential area that looks right towards the point where the Negrar and Verona valleys meet. Although very quiet, the area is not too far from the city's services and attractions, with easy access to restaurants, shops and cultural sites. This is where the area known the world over for the wonderful wines that are produced begins. The name Negrar probably derives from the Tardolatine form 'Nigariu', meaning 'place with black earth': this is the precious earth from which Amarone, Recioto, Ripasso and Valpolicella itself are born.
