The property is located in a peripheral area of the town of Sant'Agata di Militello, in contrada Muti, a residential district known for its tranquillity and convenience within the Nebrodi centre. Sant'Agata di Militello is a municipality that falls within the metropolitan city of Messina and is part of the Nebrodi Park, the largest protected natural area in Sicily. The urban centre, of ancient memory, develops around the Gallego Castle, a defensive structure of the 16th century built on pre-existing medieval buildings; there are also several noble palaces built in Liberty style and still in an excellent state of preservation. The beauty of these elements is enhanced by the seafront promenade, which affords a great view of the Aeolian Islands, and by the presence of the large port that is almost completed. Sant'Agata is about 100 km from Messina and 130 km from Palermo; from here it is possible to reach the towns of Cefalù, Capo d'Orlando, Gioiosa Marea and Taormina.
