From the ancient Romanesque Cathedral of Sant'Evasio, to the Paleologi Castle built in 1352, the Baroque Synagogue and the Jewish Museums, Casale Monferrato is certainly a centre of great interest for lovers of history and culture. Among the many cultural and food and wine events that enliven the town are the Regional Exhibition of San Giuseppe, the events of Riso&Rose in Monferrato and the well-known Wine Festival that attracts thousands of people every year in September. Travelling along the roads in this area, which offer enchanting views, it is easy to reach the numerous municipalities recognised as UNESCO heritage sites and admire their different realities. These include Cella Monte (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy) and the Sacro Monte di Crea. For enthusiasts, there are two golf courses just a few minutes from Casale. For those, on the other hand, who want to experience 'green' tourism in contact with nature, kilometres of roads and paths ideal for trekking lovers and 120 routes for those travelling on 'two wheels', allow you to slowly discover the territory and its enchanting rural landscapes.
