Riparbella: Location and surroundings of this property

The medieval village of Riparbella is located in the Val di Cecina in the province of Pisa, in the Tuscan hills where nature still reigns supreme. Here in the past stood a medieval castle, built by the Counts della Gherardesca. This small town stands on the slopes of a hillock, on a ridge of white tuff, from which it derives its name 'Ripa Albella', meaning 'white bank'.
