95.87 kWh/m²aThe Villa of Corso Genova in Chiavari was built about a century ago by order of Angelo Campodonico, who emigrated from the hamlet of Campodonico to Rosario de Santa Fè in Argentina. At the entrance, a painting celebrates the link between Italy and Argentina, while the initials of the owner are engraved on the gate. The project of the villa is attributed to the architect Gaetano Moretti, a relative of the Campodonico family and dean of the Faculty of Architecture of Milan. Moretti designed, among other things, the cemetery of Chiavari and the Government building of Montevideo. According to the architect Guido Campodonico, the villa stands out for its originality, inspired by the Viennese villas of the early 900, which Moretti knew well. The paintings that decorate the villa are the work of the painter Luigi Agretti , known for his many works in the churches of the area and the interiors of the railway station of La Spezia.
