Villa Aida

Villa Aida, a B&B run solely by the owner, was created with a varied choice of unique materials for each room and the skill of local artisans. The property is located in a residential area of Calimera just outside the historic center. From here you can easily reach the sea but also Lecce. The main feature of the property is that it is spacious both inside and outside. The living area connects evenly between different rooms, lounges, winter garden, kitchen and dining room. Also designed to host large conviviality events, the house has spacious balconies and large terraces. The one on the roof, for example, which remains to serve the first-floor annex, can accommodate up to 150 people. The fully furnished Dependance is self-contained, accessible by an outside staircase, and with room for up to 4 adults. On the main floor, raised from the ground because the house is built with a semi-basement, there are three comfortable bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms. The generous spaces allow the sleeping area to be lived in complete privacy. The living area, embellished with columns of leccese stone and tuff, is the jewel of the Villa. We also find a winter garden decorated with stained glass and comfortable lounges. An eat-in kitchen with attached two storage rooms, convenient for managing and cleaning the whole house. The house has a gas heating system and several air conditioning splits in the different rooms. The conservatory features a theater backdrop designed to enjoy a pleasant summer breeze during the day. The project could include the construction of a swimming pool to complete the outdoor area. The surrounding garden makes the property unique. To conclude, we find a large multi-car garage and a basement that is habitable and versatile in its use.
