Caldonazzo: Location and surroundings of this property

This acclaimed blue flag resort and its Caldonazzo lake is located in Valsugana, a few kilometers from Lake Levico. With its 5.4 km² it is the largest lake entirely belonging to Trentino. It has an average depth of 26.5 meters and, thanks to the favorable climatic conditions and the mild temperatures of its waters that vary from 18 to 24 ºC , bathing is usually possible from May to late September. Also thanks to its temperatures, Lake Caldonazzo is considered one of the warmest lakes in Europe. Along the banks there are free beaches and equipped bathing establishments. On the shores of the lake are the towns of Caldonazzo, Calceranica al lago and Tenna. Lake Caldonazzo is a real natural gym, ideal for practicing different sports such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, rowing and diving, it is also the only lake in the region where you can practice water skiing. In summer it often hosts sporting events with national and international athletes. Fishing enthusiasts will find a wide variety of fish such as trout, escarole, carp, sunfish and tench. In San Cristoforo, for four-legged friends, there is the beach for dogs "Bau Beach". The use of the leash is mandatory both in water and outside. Also in the year 2023, Lake Caldonazzo was awarded the important Blue Flag award for the healthiness of water, attention to the environment and sustainable services.
