Cologno al Serio is a town of 11.124 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy. It is located in the lowlands of Bergamo and it is about 10 kilometers south of Bergamo and 13 Km from the International Airport of Orio al Serio. The old town of Cologno al Serio is of great importance, it has maintained the structure that the village had in the Middle Ages. Infact, the city wall are still intact and with its moat that protected the entrance of the village, which was accessed through four entrances still well preserved; in one of these there is the town hall. The houses and streets inside the fortification have maintained their peculiarity, giving a shot of very special eye.
