It is the first ancient village in Italy, arriving from France Entreves, located at approximately 1300 meters on the slopes of Mont Blanc. Not far from the center of Courmayeur, very close to the cable cars most famous ski area in the Alps, beyond the recent one "SkyWay" cable car which goes up to Punta Helbronner (3466m) afterwards the Turin refuge, which brings thousands of tourists and hikers during the whole year. Hence the historic name among the waters that they descend from the "Val Veny" and "Val Ferret" valleys.
