Castiglione del Lago: Location and surroundings of this property

The farmhouse is located south of Lake Trasimeno just 4 km from Castiglione del Lago. Thanks to the bicycle path that runs along the entire perimeter of the Lake and the flat nature of the area, it is possible to reach the village easily by bicycle. Castiglione del Lago is equipped with all amenities, having numerous supermarkets, stores of all kinds, train station, small hospital, and an efficient and innovative public transportation system. However, the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme train station can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. The highway exit and the entrance to the freeway connecting Perugia to Siena are well connected. The airports of Rome, Florence and Pisa can be reached in about two hours by car.
