Lavertezzo Piano: Location and surroundings of this property

Lavertezzo is a political municipality in the district of Navegna. It belongs to the district of Locarno and lies in the Magadino plain. Since the merger of the main town of Lavertezzo Valle in the Verzasca Valley with other municipalities to form the municipality of Verzasca, the municipal area has been identical to the area of Riazzino (Lavertezzo Piano), which was previously an exclave of the old municipality of Lavertezzo. Monte Dato is a particularly sunny and quiet area above Riazzino. It is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike. The direct bus connection to Tenero railway station is also very practical. Typical Ticino grottos invite you to stop and linger. Shopping can be done in Tenero centre, 10 minutes away, while the large beach in Magadino and the Verzasca Valley recreation area are close by.
