This small but beautiful flat is located directly on the ski slope in the centre of Terenten. As the village with the most hours of sunshine per year in South Tyrol, Terenten can confidently call itself a sunny village. Terenten is situated on a mountain plateau in Pustertal at 1,210 m on the Sonnenstrasse. From here the panoramic view goes all the way to the Dolomite peaks in the southeast and even to some of the peaks of the Sarntal Alps in the west. So many mountains seem to be within reach'. The place name derives from the latin term "Torrentum", means mountain river. The first settlements in this area date back to the 10th century - even then the inhabitants appreciated the mild climate along the Sonnenstrasse. Terenten with its numerous fractions has about 1800 inhabitants and is a hiking paradise. In summer hikers feel just as at home here as do profesional alpinists. The earth pyramids of Terenten can be reached in a short hike. In the village centre there is a sports zone with a mini golf course, tennis courts, football pitch and riding stable. From a culinary point of view, the "s'Terner Schmelzpfandl" series of events is worth mentioning - as part of this, the "Terner Bauernkuchl" takes you on a journey through the culinary traditions of times long gone. Winter is also worth experiencing in Terenten: right in the village centre there is a panoramic ski lift, experts will visit the nearby ski mountain No. 1 in South Tyrol, the Kronplatz or the family ski area Gitschberg-Jochtal. The toboggan run to the Pertinger Alm provides tobogganing fun. Kids, on the other hand, prefer to slide from the children's tobogganing hill in the village centre. Cross-country skiers can enjoy a cross-country trail along the gentle hills, forests and meadows in the community area.
