This area, in the heart of the 50th Italian UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Paesaggi Vitivinicoli Langhe Roero Monferrato', is about 20 kilometres from Casale Monferrato, Alessandria and Asti a and is about an hour's drive from the airports of the main cities of northern Italy, such as Milan, Turin and Genoa. Also known as the Basso Monferrato, this area is characterised by its gentle hills full of vineyards that, with the exception of the Sacro Monte di Crea (another UNESCO site) (455 m), never reach heights above 400 metres. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of Italian and foreign visitors attracted by the beauty of the area, with its routes among the vineyards, and by the food and wine offer that, thanks to the presence of the many wineries, restaurants and agritourisms, guarantees the possibility of tasting the typical Monferrato delicacies all year round. Many festivals and markets are held in all the towns in this area; worthy of note is the White Truffle Fair in nearby Moncalvo. Moreover, Fubine is one of the 14 villages of the Infernot Circuit, a hilly route suitable for everyone of about 47 kilometres, which can also be covered by mountain bike, and which allows you to discover the beauty of all these underground places built by farmers digging by hand and usually used as cellars or pantries. Fubine Monferrato, also known for the presence of a Golf Club and a Riding School, both prestigious, guarantees all the basic services such as, for example, grocery shops, post office and pharmacy.
