Lentate sul Seveso: Location and surroundings of this property

The Municipality of Lentate sul Seveso is located in the Province of Monza and Brianza (Law No. 183 of December 9, 2009), more precisely in the Como area of Brianza. It is located along the Strada Statale dei Giovi, formerly called Comasina or Napoleona, a link of relevant importance dating back to ancient times. With its hamlets of Camnago, Birago, Cimnago and Copreno, the municipality covers about 14 sq. km.The municipality is about 25 km from Milan, 16 km from Monza and about 15 km south of Como. Lentate is located in the high plain and is spread over several flat or slightly undulating terraces throughout its territory, very close to the first moraine reliefs at Cermenate and Carimate. Divided in half by the Seveso River to the east of it is first a terrace of intermediate age (elevated 20-30 m) where the hamlet of Cimnago and numerous agricultural fields are located, from here on clear days it is possible to catch a glimpse of the nearby pre-Alpine arc giving a graceful view of the area. In the easternmost area, on the other hand, there is an older terrace, which still rises 15 m, to which the Groane Park forests are present.
