Sormano is a small pre-Alpine municipality in the famous Larian triangle, at an altitude of 850 meters, surrounded by marvelous landscapes and unspoiled nature easily reachable from Canzo and Asso or Nesso and Pian del Tivano. It became famous in the 60s when the Muro di Sormano, a climb known among cycling enthusiasts for its difficulty, was included in the Giro di Lombardia route.
