Dobbiaco: Location and surroundings of this property

Dobbiaco is known as the ‘gateway to the Dolomites’ as it lies at the entrance to the wildly romantic Höhlenstein Valley. Nice cafés and special shops enliven the village centre. The municipality borders the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Three Peaks Nature Park in the Sesto Dolomites and Fanes Sennes Braies and offers two wonderful excursion destinations in the form of Lake Dobbiaco and Lake Dürrensee. Even the famous composer Gustav Mahler recognised the beauty of this place in the summer months of 1908. The famous Gustav Mahler Music Weeks still commemorate him today. But the Dolomiti Balloon Festival, the Dobbiaco - Cortina cross-country ski race and the Dolomiti Superbike also fill Dobbiaco with life. An extensive network of cycle paths stretches around the village and hikers and climbers get their money's worth on the surrounding mountain peaks, such as the famous 3 Zinnen, the Paternkofel or the Toblinger Knoten. In winter, you can train on 120 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails from the ‘Nordic Arena’. The Nordic Arena is the venue for the Tour de Ski almost every year, where the best cross-country skiers compete against each other. Thanks to the connection to the ‘Ski Pustertal Express’ train line, you can reach the lifts of the Three Peaks Dolomites ski areas in Versciaco and Plan de Corones in Perca, which together offer over 200 kilometres of fun on the slopes, comfortably and stress-free. The Olympic town of Cortina d'Ampezzo is just 30 kilometres away. In summer and winter, Dobbiaco is a popular resort that attracts many visitors.

Commission Details

The appointment for the rental with our real estate agency and our real estate agents is formalized with a written agreement or, without any document, with the utilization of the services shown in our service brochure, in our real estate expose and relevant conditions.
