San Giorgio Monferrato: Location and surroundings of this property

We are located on the first hill of Casale Monferrato, a town that besides being strategically located (only 50′ by motorway from Milan, Turin, Genoa and the Milan-Malpensa International Airport) is a city that preserves an enviable historical and cultural heritage. From the ancient Romanesque-style Cathedral of Sant'Evasio, to the Paleologi castle built in 1352, to the Baroque-style Synagogue and the Jewish Museums, Casale Monferrato is certainly a centre of great interest for lovers of history and culture. Among the many cultural and food and wine events that enliven the small town are the Regional Exhibition of San Giuseppe, the events of Riso&Rose in Monferrato and the well-known Wine Festival that attracts thousands of people every year in September. In addition, an important antiques market is held every second weekend of the month. The territory around the municipality is characterised by a succession of rolling hills rich in vineyards and adorned by typical farmsteads with tuff stone facades.
