Decentral heating, Gas heatingSituated in the heart of Piedmont at the gateway to the Langhe, Narzole is located 350 meters above sea level in a broad valley bordered by several watercourses: the Tanaro River and the Mondalavia and Giuminella streams. The historic center is characterized by elegant buildings and churches of artistic and historical value. From this privileged position, it is possible to admire an extraordinary panorama that encompasses the Langhe and the Alps. The town boasts a long tradition in the wine trade, the ever-expanding artisan sector, and a flourishing agriculture. Located on the edge of the Cuneo plateau, in a territory that gently opens to the rolling hills of the Langhe, Narzole is a small town with a great history. The area was first settled by a Celto-Ligurian community and probably later became one of the suburbs of Augusta Bagiennorum, as evidenced by numerous artifacts. Narzole was part of the Municipality of Cherasco for a long time and experienced French occupation around the end of the 18th century. On April 24, 1796, Napoleon Bonaparte, after occupying the nearby town of Bene Vagienna, stopped at the local inn on the road to Narzole, had dinner, and spent the night. The French occupation allowed Narzole to free itself from dependence on Cherasco and to become an independent municipality in 1802 by decree of Napoleon himself.
