Elegant portion of a seventeenth-century building in the historic center of Gussago

Elegant decorations, ancient fireplaces and full-height ceilings characterize this charming historic residence, restored to its former charm thanks to a skilful redevelopment intervention. Its history begins in 1400, the year of construction of the tower which winds along a vertical line of over fifteen metres. The main body instead dates back to 1600, here we find a huge portico, over one hundred and fifty square meters supported by vaults with stone pillars, which introduces us to the suggestive entrance characterized by a spectacular marble staircase. The ground floor is a succession of halls, the first of which is characterized by a barrel vault intersected by a smaller lunette. In this environment, a majestic fireplace in combed Botticino marble is the master, on the walls we find decorations in seventeenth-century style from floor to ceiling. From here, the floor develops through a large eat-in kitchen with triple views onto the courtyard and a dining room with decorated ceiling and large fireplace in French-made Levanto marble dating back to the nineteenth century. A service bathroom complete with tub in green serpentine marble from Prato and a spacious laundry room complete the ground floor. The imposing marble staircase leads to the upper floors. On the first floor we arrive on a large hallway which acts as a preamble to the sleeping area, made up of a master suite with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, two double bedrooms both with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet and a large study. The floor leads directly to the large loggia, a place where light reigns supreme, perfect for enjoying pleasant moments of relaxation.
