Nea Filothei is a district of Athens located on the southeast side of the hill of Turkovounia, starting just above Panormou metro station and reaching Attiko Alsos and Psychiko (with which borders with Mouson Street at the height of Katehaki). It also borders with the districts of Ampelokipi, Polygono and Girokomeio.
Nea Filothei in its northern part is one of the quietest areas of the Municipality of Athens, as it is built almost entirely with family duplexes with gardens and lots of greenery, thus quite reminiscent of the neighboring Psychiko.
To the south, the area is gradually transformed into a bustling urban area that is very reminiscent of the neighboring Ampelokipi and Polygono, with many shops, cafes, schools, restaurants and apartment buildings. It is also known as Ano Ampelokipoi.
Accessibility: Widely accessible area by car and public transport from Mesogeion, Kifissias, Panormou and Alexandra’s avenues. The airport is approximately 50 minutes by train and 35 minutes by car.
Investment Dynamics: The area is located near the center of Athens and is ready for further development.
