Vyronas, named after Lord Byron, English poet and Philhellene, is located about 3 km from the Athens city centre, fringed by the lush, pine-clad Hymettus mountain. Vyronas is a centrally located middle-class neighbourhood, home to sports clubs and the famed Theatro Vrachon, a popular venue for summer concerts. The Kessariani monastery is a green oasis to go for hikes, picnics and for stunning vistas of the city. Vyronas offers the advantages of living in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by greenery, while being within easy access to the city and its arterial roads. Close proximity to schools, supermarkets and playgrounds. Two main avenues, Leoforos Alimou-Katechaki and Mesogeion, offer access to and outside of Athens. The Athens International Airport is 35 minutes away, whereas the city center is a 10 minute drive away. Vyronas is very close to the city center, and an up/and-coming area drawing interest from buyers.
