It has two main events that take place every year, the wine festival "Festa des Vermar", which is held in September, and an annual demonstration of stonemasonry craftsmen, which is usually held in May. It is about 25 minutes from the airport, as well as 30 minutes from the centre of Palma and its beaches, making it ideal for nature lovers who don't want to stray too far from life in the capital.
