Malgrat de Mar is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, next to the Costa Brava. Its privileged location between the sea and the mountains makes it a unique enclave as a habitual residence or summer home. Malgrat is located 60km from Barcelona and 30km from Girona, connected by the C32 and the NII, and with the option of using both airports. It also has a suburban train station that connects it with the whole Maresme from Barcelona to Blanes, passing through Mataró. It has a nice semi-pedestrian center surrounded by mountains and falling towards the sea. The hotel and holiday area is located 5 to 10 minutes from the train station. Its usual population is 18,000 inhabitants which doubles between May and October. It also has a large shopping area, restaurants, cafes, schools, medical centers and other services.
