What do you do at E&V Technology?
I’m a Software Engineer at OwnerApp product.
What are some of the challenges you have faced so far?
One of the great challenges that we are going through here at Engel & Völkers is related to the migration of all our internal and external products to the Google cloud, related to this topic we are constantly thinking about how to evolve our delivery pipeline and improve our efficiency and quality of code. As a backend engineer, I have a lot of challenges evolving and refactoring third-party codes so that I can make the maintainability, readability, and evolution of the product as well as constantly adapt such code to the best practices and guidelines that we define internally in our engineering meetings.
My typical day at E&V includes..
I like to start my day with a good cup of coffee or tea, constantly reviewing and prioritizing my backlog items and implementing them applying the best code practices to deliver as much value as possible.
What technology are you most excited about working with next?
I am currently very excited to work with all the technologies involved in our CI/CD such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
What was a great surprising thing you discovered after joining E&V?
The great surprise I had when I arrived at E & V was to find professionals constantly concerned with the continuous improvement, not only of the projects and products but also of the company as a whole, we are a team that aims at the constant evolution of the business and the strengthening and quality of our area.
Another point that caught my attention was the openness and personal support that company transpires, constantly open to help in whatever is within reach, making us more comfortable upon arrival in another country and culture.

I don’t have a strong preference for my coffee preparation, I just like to drink in the early morning with a little bit of milk :D
