What’s your name and where are you from?

Moin, my name is Hassen and I’m from Tunisia

What do you do at E&V Technology?

I joined E&V Technology as a junior software engineer. I focus mainly on front development and I’m part of the Brokerage team.

What are some of the challenges you have faced so far?

The main challenge I faced so far is dealing with performance issues in one of our web applications. As the product is being developed by a third-party vendor, it is difficult to propose potential solutions by going through the code and make sure it doesn’t slow down the development velocity.

My typical day at E&V includes..

My typical day includes my team’s stand-up as well as a developers stand-up and other meetings. It includes of course coding, going through the latest pushed and deployed code and learning new things.

What technology are you most excited about working with next?

I worked with AngularJS before and now I’m learning Angular framework to use it to develop new web apps. I’m always curious about new web technologies especially that things are moving very fast nowadays. I finished last September a Coursera certification on Angular and now I have been granted a Google Developer Challenge Scholarship for Mobile Web Specialist track on Udacity.

What was a great surprising thing you discovered after joining E&V?

Coming the day after my birthday and find my desk decorated 

I like my coffee …?

I don’t drink too much coffee but I always want it with milk.
