What’s your name and where are you from?
My name is Sara Kirstine Callesen and I am from Aarhus, Denmark.
What do you do at E&V Technology?
I am a product designer in the B2C team, where I’m primarily responsible for conducting user research, so we can ensure that the products we develop fits perfectly to our users needs.
What are some of the challenges you have faced so far?
That I have to walk all the way down to the atrium to get my much needed coffee. In other words, I haven’t really had any real challenges so far.
My typical day at E&V includes..
Doing research on users and the market both ’in the field’, where I talk to our users and different stakeholders, and via existing research material. Therefore, my days also include a whole lot of stickies. This is the way I can begin to see patterns of all the knowledge we collect.
What technology are you most excited about working with next?
There are various mock-up and wireframing programs, e.g Sketch, where I’m currently trying to improve my skills.
What was a great surprising thing you discovered after joining E&V?
Everyone is very open and welcoming. It’s always nice to talk to new people during lunch and especially having the opportunity to learn about other cultures as a lot of the employees come from all parts of the world.
I like my coffee…
Black as the night and strong as Popeye!
