The Hangklip area includes the towns of Rooi Els, Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay and stretches up to Kleinmond.
It is just under an hour’s drive from Cape Town, along the world-famous scenic Clarence Drive (R44) to reach this idyllic setting. Situated on the Cape Whale Coast, these towns were mainly second homes, but with lifestyle changes over the past couple of years, more and more families decide to settle here permanently. Schools, amenities, and medical facilities are close by in Kleinmond, Hermanus, or Strand. Rooi Els and Pringle Bay offer the most beautiful views over False Bay and with Table Mountain in the distance.
Hangklip is part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
