The Pinheiros Altos Golf course embodies true harmony between natural beauty and bold design. The vision of renowned American architect Ronald Fream on holes 1 to 8; combined with Portuguese golf architect Jorge Santana da Silva on the additional 9 holes, where the ability to shape the existing landscape into golf practice formations not only demonstrates ingenuity but also presents a formidable challenge for players, elevating the experience as a whole.

The first half, with sandy subsoil, stone pines, and undulating terrain, contrasts with the second, which is less extensive and stretches over gentle hills adorned with a number of lakes. The highlight of the course is the challenging 17th hole, with an island-shaped green, emulating the fame of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in the United States. 

Since its inauguration, this course has been chosen as a pre-season training venue by many professional golfers, who are attracted by the extensive practice area that includes three putting greens, bunker and chipping areas, as well as the wide ranging greens. The Club Academy offers a good variety of lesson programmes, designed and created to suit golfers of all levels, ensuring every player can refine their skills in this inspiring setting.

Each section of Pinheiros Altos Golf course was to honor emblematic Portuguese trees: The Pines, The Cork Trees and The Olive Trees. A journey that begins and ends near the cozy Club house, providing an unparalleled golfing experience.
