Marina de Lagos was the first marina in the Iberian Peninsula to achieve a 5-star rating awarded by the International Marine Certification Institute.
In addition to this award, it was also honored with the"Euromarina Anchor Award", the "European Blue Flag"and "The Yacht Harbor Association's 5 Gold Anchors".
Considered a reference Marina in Portugal, the Marina de Lagos excels by thequality and professionalism with which it serves those who pass by.
With a great location on the Lagos bay next to the Meia Praia beach this Marina has the privilege of being simultaneously within walking distance of the historical center of Lagos city, the birth place the Portuguese Discoveries.
Inaugurated in 1994 it receives recreational craft that visit this region of Portugal or, that are passing, by sea, to other stops.
The Marina has 460 places for boats and excellent support facilities (toilets / showers, laundry, etc.). It also has commercial and catering areas, a hotel (Marina Club), residential areas, green spaces and leisure (especially the Adventure Park, for the fun of the younger ones), also proposing activities such as deep sea fishing and boating for visitors wishing to get to know the Algarve from the sea.
