Once again, this year, inside the Baglio and the Palazzo del Principe, a new edition of 'Camporeale Days' will take place, an event that aims to valorise and promote the gastronomic, artistic, handicraft and touristic resources of the Alto Belice area, organised by the 'Associazione Turistica Pro Loco Camporeale' with the patronage of the municipality.
The venue for the event is Camporeale, a small municipality of three thousand inhabitants, in the eastern part of the Val di Mazara, on the border of the provinces of Agrigento, Trapani and Palermo.
This is an event that since its first edition has put the spotlight on the particularities of a territory rich in history and uniqueness, becoming a reference point among the most important events in the Sicilian wine and food panorama and providing the public with an opportunity to discover this territory and its excellence.
On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October 2023, the event will be open to the public. During the festival, it will also be possible to visit some of the wineries in the area, and to taste typical food products and, of course, the wines of the Monreale DOC wineries at the maxi-tasting benches. Here it will be possible to try old vintages, now almost impossible to find, special wines and special bottle sizes.
As always, the event will be marked by a calendar of masterclasses on wine, presented by professionals from the regional and national wine press, and workshops on local food specialities, with six cooking shows and conferences dedicated to the theme of the new edition: 'honey'.
The event, now in its ninth edition, is aimed at all those in search of high-quality products, enthusiasts of sustainable tourism and traditional, organic and healthy production methods, as well as journalists and professionals in the sector, to whom the meetings from 2 to 4 October will be reserved.
