The story of Matteo Albano - From the Free University of Bolzano to an upcoming real estate agent at Engel & Völkers Bolzano

I can say with conviction that my life has changed fundamentally since joining the Engel & Völkers Bolzano family.

The chance to become an expert in the real estate industry has immense significance for me as a young man from a commercial background. Being part of such a solid and international network of real estate experts is the best confirmation of the sacrifices I made during my years of study. Moreover, I am proud to have become a point of reference for hundreds of clients in a short period of time. Through my work as a real estate agent, certain mechanisms have been set in motion that have allowed me to become part of the best social fabric of my city and to establish profitable contacts in the business world and among private individuals that I did not have access to before.

Of course, there were many fears and uncertainties in the beginning, such as worrying whether I would be able to acquire enough properties in a short time, whether I would be able to keep up with the strong competition in South Tyrol and satisfy my clients, or whether I would be able to cope with such a diverse and international portfolio of contacts.

However, thanks to the invaluable support that my new colleagues and the solid structure of Engel & Völkers Bolzano offered me from the very beginning, all doubts quickly evaporated and were replaced by an encouraging certainty. In our shop at Waltherplatz 8 in Bolzano, there is a constant exchange between us colleagues that allows us to learn from each other and accelerate the professional development process thanks to first-hand experience. This kind of interaction between us agents has allowed me to minimize mistakes and guarantee my customers a high level of service that meets our brand standards.

True! As an real estate agent, it sometimes happens that you have to sacrifice a Sunday morning or a relaxing Saturday afternoon to attend to a client who is travelling from Germany, for example, and wants to buy one of the properties we broker. It is also true that the resulting satisfaction is truly rewarding in every way. In general, the work is often spread over mornings and afternoons. I have the freedom to arrange my schedule according to my clients' commitments and needs, without giving up my passions and private commitments. Once a week, we have our team meeting where we catch up on our latest activities and share tips. There are also various team-building events that I always enjoy taking part in.

I can proudly say that this job has fundamentally changed my life and gives me a lot of pleasure. I can recommend this job to anyone who is ambitious and wants to prove themselves in the real estate industry!
