Group E&V in 2016 exceeds half a billion euro turnover
In 2016 the Engel & Völkers Group increased its revenues generated from commissions by 23.6%, surpassing the half a billion euro turnover (506.3 million euro versus 409.8 milni euro in 2015).Christian Völkers, Founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers, commented: "We were able to exceed half a billion euro, a record milestone that reflects the success of our expansion strategy on a global level".
Engel & Völkers Italy recorded the highest growth rate
With growth of 93.2%, Italy has achieved the highest growth rate in turnover generated in the residential division, followed by Spain and Portugal, which experienced a 37.2% increase. Considering the total residential and commercial divisions, 2016 sales in Italy grew by 89% to 18.7 million euro (compared to 9.9 million last year).The number of agents and 'increased proportionally with a + 22% annual hiring.
Outlook 2017: Engel & Völkers looking for new real estate agents around the world
