ENGEL & VÖLKERS CHARITY – Building work begins!

After months of planning, construction work on the secondary school in Togo, West Africa, has now begun.

The first classes have already moved temporarily into makeshift classrooms on the site so that the existing school buildings can be extended.

The mood at the “Ecole privée Engel & Völkers”, the primary school run by the E&V Charity in Togo, could not be better, and there is a good reason for that: For the sixth time in a row now, all the children in the top-year class at our school in Agbetiko have passed their exams with flying colours. Of the ten best-performing pupils in the Agou region, five are pupils at our school. We managed to defend the first-place spot as well.

“The achievements of the pupils at the Engel & Völkers Primary School in Togo fill us with great pride and joy. At the same time, we also feel an obligation to continue accompanying the children on their success path moving forward,” 

says Ninon Völkers, Chairwoman of the Board of Engel & Völkers Charity 

“We have already managed to collect more than half of the 100,000 euros in donations we require. And would like to thank all donors from the bottom of our hearts for their generosity.”

Engel & Völkers Charity gives you the possibility to cover the tuition costs of a student at the “Ecole Privée Engel & Völkers”, thus committing yourself to support our project in the long term. With 25 euros a month you can cover the entire cost of a child's education, as well as a new school uniform every year, all teaching materials and two meals a day.
