Air conditioner bonus

With the arrival of the summer, air conditioning becomes a necessity, in fact the sultry heat that characterizes the summer climate in Milan makes many people buy an air conditioner. The good news is that, like every year, there are some incentives on the purchase of new air conditioners or on the replacement of the old ones. Thanks to “2021 air conditioners bonus” it’s possible, without any ISEE limit, to take advantage of the discount between 50% and 65% for the purchase of an air conditioner, until 31 December 2021. The incentive focuses on appliances capable of avoiding waste, not damaging the environment and increasing thermal comfort. Let's find out how it works and how and who can request it.

How the bonus works

If you don’t carry out renovations, you are entitled to a 50% deduction if you install an appliance belonging to the energy class A + (making the purchase of the air conditioner part of an extraordinary maintenance intervention). The percentage of the bonus can reach up to 65% if you decide to replace the old appliance with a new heat pump system, belonging to a higher energy class. The maximum deductible amount is € 46,154, which is divided into 10 annual installments of the same amount.

Who can benefit from the bonus

Owners of the property, lessors with a regular rental contract, subjects who have the usufruct or the loan for use of the property, but also a family member who lives with the owner of the property.

Who can request the bonus

The bonus can be requested through the 730 form or as an immediate discount. The purchase and installation cannot be paid by credit card, debit card, checks or cash, but it must be paid using:

• installment payment through financing

• ordinary bank transfer or postal bank transfer

• Specific bank transfer for the eco bonus
