Waiting for Christmas: "Città dei Balocchi" in Como

The XXIII edition of Como Città dei Balocchi will be held from November 26, 2016 to January 8, 2017.

The Angels, a traditional symbol of Christmas, will be the theme of this edition.

The Como Magic Light Festival, the flagship of this event, will illuminate the city of Como. Thanks to the use of projectors, Christmas images will be projected on to various buildings, decorating the city and creating a fairy-tale atmosphere that every year brings worldwide recognition to Como thanks to videos and photos posted on the web. The Concert in the Cathedral and New Year’s Eve on the Lake, the ice rink and Christmas market in Piazza Cavour, are only a few of the events not to be missed in the beautiful area of Lake Como.
