About Lake Iseo

Situated in Lombardy, just North of the cities of Brescia and Bergamo, the Lake Iseo region is the unsung gem of Northern Italy. Renowned for its beautiful landscapes, breathtaking panoramas,  excellent climate, art, history, fine wines, and fine dining, it is considered the most romantic lake in Northern Italy and offers spectacular sunsets that create unforgettable memories.

Some of the most striking  lakeside towns are Sarnico, IseoLovereSulzano, and Pisogne, all of them with their unique Italian charm and beauty. Just a short ferry ride you can venture to Montisola, the largest lake island in Southern Europe, renowned for its beauty and tranquillity.

For ski lovers and winter sports enthusiasts in just an hour, you'll already find yourself in the beautiful Alps, in particular  Ponte di Legno, the queen town of Val Camonica.

The Franciacorta region, located on  the southern side of the lake, is renowned as the “Champagne territory” of Italy and is surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards.

In 2018 the northern part of the lake the Camonica Valley (Val Camonica) has been the first Italian site  recognized UNESCO.

Lifestyle Advantages

Lake Iseo is located in a commercially, and culturally strategic region of Northern Italy. Within an hour drive are the lakes of Garda and Como, the Dolomites and Alps, and the Thermal Hot Springs of Sirmione. The art cities of Verona, Venice, Milan, and Florence are also within easy reach.

For beach lovers, the Lido di Jesolo and the Liguria coast are both under 3 hours drive.

The
car-free Montisola, often the inspiration of renowned artists, is the largest lake island in Southern Europe and is one of Europe’s best destinations.

The area is very well-connected with major main roads and rail arteries.  Four International airports are all within easy reach. You are 30 minutes from Caravaggio Orio International Airport (Bergamo), 1 hour to Linate Airport (Milan) and Valerio Catullo Airport (Verona), and 1 hour 20 minutes to Milano-Malpensa Airport.

An added benefit to our territory is the presence of excellent schools, universities, healthcare, and commerce.

Art and cultural tourism tends to prevail and is well served in terms of historical and cultural venues.
