Easter: #marcheregiondestination

There are many reasons to choose as an Easter time destination for holidays the Marche Region, that is "Italy in a region" ...

Let's try to suggest someone:

- traditional processions and historical re-enactments related to the Christian Easter liturgy  repeat themselves every year in the most beautiful towns and villages of the Marche, among which, certainly as a primary worship place, stands out the Basilica of the Holy House of Loreto, a town that for the occasion celebrates special events like "La Morte del Giusto", with hundreds of actors and extras, dressed in period costume and with the preparation of that time scenographic reconstruction .

- Opportunities related to the rediscovery of landscapes and traditions, through cultural and food and wine tours and, why not, to physical activities such as urban trekking, excursions, among which we mention the "Magnaebevilonga"(an eat and food long march), a sort of marathon of taste, which develops for about 10 km in the hills of Cartoceto, in Pesaro’s territory, with frequent stops dedicated to tastings of food and wine specialties of the area or a wonderful itinerary inside the Sibillini Mountains National Park which, through fairytale scenarios, reaches the final destination of the "Lame Rosse", a magic place called "Piccola Cappadocia delle Marche (the little Marche Region little Cappadocia)" or, again, the visit to the charming "Frasassi caves",, which take place near the little town of Genga, in the Fabriano area, almost on the border with Umbria

- also worth noting the touristic proposals linked to the Marche Region coast, with its 180 km of coastline and the many blue flags, correlated to the quality of the water, beaches and tourist infrastructure, proposes many locations to visit and where to stay, characterized by seaside old villages with breathtaking views, such as the ones of the old center of Porto San Giorgio, Grottammare, Torre di Palme or unique promontories, such as the Conero one (http://www.conero.it/en/) with its pearls of Sirolo and Numana or the very well-known rivieras such as the Palm trees one of San Benedetto del Tronto city  or, again, the "velvet beach" of Senigallia  and the list would continue for a long time.

- Events strictly linked to culture, in some cities that have chosen  this issue as the most important one of their tourist offer, such as the following art shows: "Lorenzo Lotto dialogues with Giacomo Leopardi", in the Civic Museum of Villa Colloredo Mels in Recanati city, "Capriccio  e  Natura: art in the Marche Region in the second half of sixteenth century" at Palazzo Bonaccorsi in Macerata city  and  "Cola dell'Amatrice tra Pinturicchio e Raffaello" that takes place at the Civic Gallery of Ascoli Piceno city
